Overview

Our newly improved Campaign module is built to streamline creator communication, execute and track campaign tasks/deliverables, and automatically generate reports, proving the value of your creator campaigns.

Important Note: It is best to set up your campaign in Sideqik before your campaign launch date to ensure that all posts are captured in an efficient and timely manner.

Creating a Campaign

Templates:

  • When you create a new campaign, you’ll notice a variety of prebuilt templates. Each template has different settings, stages, and tasks based on that campaign's objectives. You can always customize these prebuilt settings and even save your modified settings as a new custom template for future use.

Settings:

  • Title: Input the name of your campaign.

  • Date Range: Input the date range for your campaign. This is the date range that Sideqik will pull posts from and can be changed at any time.

Measuring Success:

  • EMV: Calculate your campaign’s success using the monetary value of the exposure you gain through your creators content.

  • Revenue: If you have conversion tracking setup, you will be able to track campaign-attributed conversions and calculate ROI.

  • Payments: Select whether or not you’ll be paying creators during this campaign.

Creators:

  • Automatically Add: Select this option to automatically pull content from any creators in your ‘My Creators’ dashboard.

  • Choose Creators: This option allows you to select individual creators from your ‘My Creators’ by searching their name or relevant labels.

Social Content:

  • Networks: Choose which networks you’d like to pull content from (by default, we recommend all networks).

  • Keywords: Input any and all keywords you’d like to track. When your creators post using these keywords, hashtags, and/or tags, Sideqik will pull in that content automatically.

  • Signup Form: Onboard and easily gather pertinent creator information to prepare for the start of your team's Campaign.

Payments and Revenue:

  • Automatic Payments Tracking: Automatically tag payments to creators to your campaign to keep track of costs and accurately calculate ROI.

Workflow:

  • Stages: Stages are a way to break your campaign into broad Steps such as: Recruiting, Pre-Campaign, Campaign, and Post Campaign. Within each stage, you can customize tasks for your brand or creators.

  • Smart Tasks: Smart Tasks are individual requirements for your brand to complete internally or your creators to complete as a part of your campaign. Completing all tasks in one stage will progress a creator to the next stage until all campaign requirements are met. There are three types of Smart Tasks:

    • To-Do task:

      • "To-Do" tasks are essentially checklist items that can be customized and assigned to the brand or creators.

    • Campaign Brief Task:

      • Campaign Briefs allow you to input any amount of custom text to illustrate your campaign requests to creators. You may format the text however you need to and deliver detailed instructions to your creators. Once submitted, creators will need to read and accept the terms of the campaign brief in their creator portal.

    • Post Content Task:

      • Post Content tasks allow you to deliver instructions for posting on any network you request. You can change requested networks, select how many posts you require, and select whether or not the content must be approved before posting. Creators can upload their post content to the portal for approval before posting.

    • Connect Profile Task:

      • The days of sending individual connect links are over! This task allows you to request your creators to connect their profiles on specific networks, ensuring Sideqik is tracking all needed metrics and content for your creator campaigns.

Select Save on the bottom right hand side and your Campaign is ready to go! Navigate to the Workflow tab to get started and begin completing the tasks needed to launch and complete your campaign.

Once your creators begin posting and complete their deliverables, Sideqik will automatically begin generating your report for you! Navigate to the Dashboard to see a break down of impressions, engagement, conversions, demographics and more.
